I'm featured in this June's edition of Runner's World in an article on "Running Form." The picture above is on page 86. Pick up a copy and let me know your thoughts on the substance of the article.
Harry
There are as many reasons for running as there are days in the year, years in my life. But mostly I run because I am an animal and a child, an artist and a saint. So, too, are you. Find your own play, your own self-renewing compulsion, and you will become the person you are meant to be.
Congratulations. I haven't read it yet, but I almost fell out of my chair when I was flipping through the magazine this morning: "Hey! I read that guy's blog!"
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of Nike shoe are you running in? Are they a minimalist shoe?
ReplyDeleteIt's the Nike Air Zoom Streak XC. Probably Nike's most minimalist running shoe (and most popular but it's under $50 so Nike doesn't offer it at any stores; you have to order it online). It's a good all-purpose shoe (XC, roads, and trails). It only has a 3mm toe to heel differential.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sean. They'll let anyone in a magazine now days :).

Thanks, I just order a pair of the Nike XC, I just switch to a pair of Inov-8's with a 3mm drop, which are tearing up my heel cord so I am going to try the XC's and blend my old Nike Free's and Inov-8's till I adapt more. Enjoy your Denver runs, I am in Tampa and it is hot, hot, hot already, Thanks again!
