Runner's World, June 2011

I'm featured in this June's edition of Runner's World in an article on "Running Form." The picture above is on page 86. Pick up a copy and let me know your thoughts on the substance of the article.

  1. Congratulations. I haven't read it yet, but I almost fell out of my chair when I was flipping through the magazine this morning: "Hey! I read that guy's blog!"

  2. What kind of Nike shoe are you running in? Are they a minimalist shoe?

  3. It's the Nike Air Zoom Streak XC. Probably Nike's most minimalist running shoe (and most popular but it's under $50 so Nike doesn't offer it at any stores; you have to order it online). It's a good all-purpose shoe (XC, roads, and trails). It only has a 3mm toe to heel differential.

  5. Thanks, I just order a pair of the Nike XC, I just switch to a pair of Inov-8's with a 3mm drop, which are tearing up my heel cord so I am going to try the XC's and blend my old Nike Free's and Inov-8's till I adapt more. Enjoy your Denver runs, I am in Tampa and it is hot, hot, hot already, Thanks again!
